Beautiful Horses |
Your horses are absolutely gorgeous! I use to have a kiger dun mustang mare that I loved to death. She was my baby. An absolute doll. I grew up with her and now I am fighting to get her back. It was the biggest mistake of my life to sell her. She wasn't the best horse in the world to ride but when you get a mustang.....you cant live without them. Thank you for putting these amazing animals on the internet for everyone to see how mustangs should look like-not what they look like before going to glue factories. Congrats on all the horses!
Always

HELP! |
|
Hello Kiger breeders. We have just adopted 2 twin Kiger mustang fillies from a colleague and need some advice on training. They are both dun with stripe, one is about 14.3 and the other is a bit smaller. They are halter and trailer broke. When should we begin breaking to ride? We are boarding them now until we can get some horse property. Any tips would be welcome! Thanks! |

Dear Betty:
Jean Kraft just found this site and we also heard about your husband and want to offer our deepest condolences. It has been a long long time since we saw all the old timers at Herbs. Jim Lane has been playing at Crazy Jakes though.

i have to say i am usually all about the lineback dun with the bi-coloring mane and tail and the zebra stips on the legs and the marks on the withers...however Zarita (?) the Silver mare...golly she is an eye catcher..thanks for the lovely pix..it is my hope that one day i can be a proud owner of a Kiger...they have captured my heart...and belive me when i say i have since childhood, for some odd reason, been drawn to know more of horses and the diff. breeds..the Kiger was a pleasant discovery. i have owned a very few horses off and on in my childhood thanks to my daddy. And my most trustworthy, gentle, patient, kind friend was a mare of questionable breeding. But to this day i think she must have had some mustang in her and i will never forget my Domingo..thanx again |

I just got my first Kiger Mustang and in doing research about him and his breed I ran across your website. I am fascinated by them and think they are beautiful. I am interested in getting another one in the future. Good Luck with yours.
